Biography

Caetano Penna is a Senior Research Fellow in Global Sustainability Transitions at the Utrecht University Centre for Global Challenges. He is currently on leave from a tenured position as Adjunct Professor of Technology and Industry Economics at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil). Within the Deep Transitions research project, he is involved in research on scenario methodologies and sustainability investing. His main research interests are mission-oriented and transformative innovation policies, technological and sustainability transitions, and the financing of innovation and sustainable development.
