Florian Kern

Biography

Dr Kern is head of group ecological economics and environmental policy at the Institute for Ecological Economy Research (IÖW). He also coordinates the Institute’s crosscutting themes “Innovation and Technology” and “Environmental Policy and Governance”. He is associate editor of Research Policy and a member of the steering group of the Sustainability Transitions Research Network. His research focuses on the politics of sustainability transitions.
