Roberta Benedetti del Rio is, together with Johan Schot, co-chairing the Global Investors Panel. She is a sustainability-focused investor and impact consultant. She is currently leading the development of the impact methodology at Just Climate, a newly established investment business dedicated to climate-led investing, launched by Generation Investment Management. Prior to this, Roberta was a Director at Generation, investing across private equity and credit markets, and previously an investment banker at Morgan Stanley.
Just Climate’s mission is to seek to limit global temperature rise to 1.5°C by catalysing and scaling capital towards the most impactful climate solutions; and by broadening what capital markets value by establishing climate-led investing as a capital allocation imperative. Just Climate has been launched by Generation as a subsidiary based in London. Generation is an independent, private, owner-managed partnership which was established in 2004 with the mission to prove the case for sustainable investing by delivering superior investment performance over the long term. Generation manages over $30 billion of assets on behalf of institutional and private clients globally.
